My inner cynic thinks – Seems maybe it’s the men who don’t need (or want) the bicycle, in the end. Or someone broke the rules of fight club, probably JP or Dave Rubin. My friend Charly Priest reminded me of a couple of other Jordan Peterson videos, that I should probably have shared in the last post. Although having said that, given Jordan’s current illness, probably best these are shared in a separate post.
Forgot to mention – Jordan Peterson is Canadian – a lot of good YouTubers (and creators and people in general) seem to come out of Canada, I don’t know why. Maple syrup ?
(Note to self – get that Canadian flag on my sidebar with the others I’ve been slowly adding)
Joe Rogan is a YouTube longform interviewer who is as popular (or more maybe) than Dave Rubin. Joe gets billions of views a year – ie he’s mainstream, probably more mainstream than the fakestream media these days.
This is the highlights of Joe Rogan interviewing Jordan Peterson (14 minutes) :
(1.2 million views)
Dave Rubin is an ex-presenter of “The Young Turks” and a turncoat-ex-leftist. His channel is one of the most popular channels, that I know of within his field. Many of his videos have millions of views.
He usually does longform interviews with prominent people, but tables are turned on this one, this time Dave is being interviewed by Mike Huckabee.
(300K views as of today)
I didn’t know he was sick, I hadn’t seen him around for a while.
So – Get well soon Jordan Peterson, I wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you again soon.
Jordan – Thank you for all your efforts, especially concerning helping to protect free speech, and your efforts to educate people about the real and present danger of a dystopia emerging in the west.
I watched this a few hours ago – seems as though the Swedes have had enough of the crazy EU immigration open borders program. It’s being blamed by some sources, for the rise in violent crime like sexual assaults and rapes of Swedish women and girls, amongst other serious crimes – said to be being perpetrated by immigrants who’ve already been welcomed into Sweden.
Would be interested to hear from any of my Swedish readers on their experiences and views (I’m not in Sweden, so can only go on what I hear from media sources)
This is back from 2017. She says she has a Frexit plan, or at least that was the case in 2017.
Given the mayhem in France right now, and Macron’s unpopularity – Le Pen I think is slated to be the most likely opponent to take over from Macron.
LBC is one of the better mainstream media sources in UK, with diverse political leaning, left, right and centrist presenters – So comes recommended. It can be accessed by radio in UK, and they also have their own YouTube channel, where they upload their shows.
Shoe seems to be on the other foot for the EU now – Pre-Brexit 31-Jan-2020, the EU was saying that it would take like 5 years to do a trade deal with the UK, now, it’s easily done in the … Continue reading EU Desperate For Trade Deal With UK
I’ve been following this for some time now on non-fakestream media sources. Fakestream media haven’t been reporting on it, presumably because it doesn’t support their minority political narrative (UK and elsewhere). Continue reading Frexit On The Way ? France Tensions Reaching Breaking Point
Just saw this – how long before internet in Canada looks the same as internet in North Korea or China ? Where’s Jordan Peterson when you need him ? Is the end of free speech in Canada ?
Great firewall of China, in Canada ?
The news source is relatively new to me – so if you have further centrist-leaning video reports on this issue, feel free to share in the comments section, I’m interested.
Lastly – I AM JUST PASSING THIS ON – I am not a journalist or activist and TBH most of the time not a “serious” writer either (blogging is supposed to be fun?). I’m a centrist, I read and view content from both sides of the aisle (as long as it’s not blatant propaganda, or utter trash) – so I’m sharing this for your information, something you may not be aware of and may be interested in (or not, in which case, just go to the next post). As with any news or report, don’t just take it at face value, do your own research, use your own critical thinking. Kind of obvious really, but best stated, so that it’s clear.
TBH, I’ve never been a Facebook fan. Having spoken to others, it’s a mixed bag, some like it, some don’t. Most say they just use it to keep in touch with friends and family, and others, actively avoid using it. … Continue reading Facebook Good ? Facebook Bad ? Free Speech ? Or Totalitarian Censorship ?
ffmpeg is one of the most powerful video/audio enoding/decoding/etc tools out there. It’s been around for donkey’s years, and used by amateurs and pros alike.
The main downside is that it’s a command line only tool, so if you’re not willing or able to “get your hands dirty” then probably just do a next on this post. If you want to to try it out, there’s plenty of guides accessible via Google et al which will shine a light on the path for you.
ffmpeg is available for Windows, Linux and Mac. ffmpeg has codecs included for just about every photo/audio/video imaginable. As one comment I spotted online eluded – ffmpeg is very very smart, more than people give it credit for.

For my overseas readers – “thick” in the UK is used pejoratively to mean stupid, low IQ or poorly educated. Recipients of being called “thick” would also see it as condescending, and vain on the part of the person using the term. Bit like the “R” word in the US (which I won’t put here as I got told off last time I used it)
#Thick trending on Twitter – because people didn’t like 2016 referendum result, didn’t like that they weren’t able to overturn it in 4 years of trying, didn’t like that they lost the general election and didn’t like that on Friday the UK left the EU. Oh, and didn’t like it that people sang our national anthem “God Save The Queen” to mark leaving.

(For my Canadian friend et al) – This was in my inbox this morning : Nigel Farage’s farewell speech to the European Parliament was cut short after he said goodbye by brandishing a Union flag along with his Brexit Party … Continue reading Brexit – Nigel Farage’s final speech to European Parliament cut short after he waves flag
Recently I moved my old videos from WordPress to YouTube to free up storage space on my blog, for posting photography later.
I wasn’t quite sure how YouTube would deal with the fact that the music included in some of my videos is mainstream and copyright. I thought this was a big no no on YouTube.
As it turns out, I was wrong – it’s OK, you can post copyright music without getting banned etc from YouTube. Only thing that will happen is that the video will get marked as containing copyright music. The rub is that you won’t receive any monetization. *Nothing bad will happen.*
I thought about it for a while, and actually I don’t care, my videos would probably only clock up a few views anyway – so monetization isn’t something of any importance to me.
The other thing is videos can be set to unlisted, so they don’t appear in search. What that means is it’s just your blog viewers who can access them via the special link provided by YouTube (not shown in any search).
So copyright owner isn’t actually going to make any money from you posting the video, which is fine for me (of course if you actually wanted to give the money to the copyright owner, you can set the video as listed for search in YouTube)
So, could be a good way to share music you like with your followers – just a suggestion/tip. Might be helpful to someone. I will likely use the facility again later, as sometimes I can only find poor quality versions of pieces of music (on YouTube) I’d like to share, or I can’t find the particular mix/version that I have in my own music collection.
It’s simple to merge a single still photo with music (easiest way to do it). Or if you have video you can merge the video with music.
I think I used Photoshop to do mine. Also Avidemux I’ve used in the past – it’s free, and pretty easy to use. Plus plenty of others out there.
Feel free to leave a comment – what’s your favourite video editing software (preferably free and easy to use.) ?Especially like to hear what Linux users use for video editing, as I’m using Linux more and more these days.
I grew up with the BBC. They made some amazing TV and were probably the best of the 3, and then 4 channels available to watch (that’s all we had). Some of the greatest ever comedy shows came out of … Continue reading The Bias Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) – Worth £155 Per Year On Pain Of Prison ?

Interesting what the globalist elites have planned for us and how they’ve been going about it :
I’ve found Dr Steve Turley’s presentations quite interesting and informative regarding US & world politics, he’s posting daily on YouTube. I think many people and countries are waking up to the importance of “nationalist populist” as Steve puts it.
Politically, most likely, I’m a centrist. So, if you’re commenting from far-left or far-right, then it’s about the same for me – I don’t subscribe to your ideologies. I find both communism and fascism, abhorrent in about equal measure. I thank whatever gods exist, every day, that I don’t have to live in a place like Nazi-Germany or Communist-Russia.
Thanks to my new followers, again, I don’t where you came from or why, I don’t think I did anything particularly special – but thanks anyway.
Dear All, My audience is global, so apologies, this is a UK thing – however I do think think it’s an event of global significance. I wrote a post yesterday passing on information about a crowd fund to have the … Continue reading Brexit Remainers, Remoaners and Rejoiners
