BlackRock inches closer to SEC approval as Bitcoin ETF gets listed on Nasdaq trade clearing firm

BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF listed on the DTCC, suggesting a potential approval by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The iShares spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) has a ticker symbol of IBTC and will be listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange. The SEC has until January 10, 2024 to reach a final decision on the ETF’s approval or denial. The approval of this application will open the doors for a number of spot crypto ETF filings under review by the SEC. If the ETF actually gets approved, the price of Bitcoin will moon.
