“Hysterical Reaction To Covid19 And Public Support Of Lockdown Is Scary And Dangerous” – (New Culture Forum)

This update from Peter Hitchens/Peter Whittle, from The New Culture Forum (via YouTube, published 16-Apr-2020)

“Peter Hitchens: Hysterical reaction to Covid19 & public support of lockdown is scary & dangerous”

I stumbled across “The New Culture Forum”, whilst researching researching contemporary cultural orthodoxies. Their weekly show’s catch phrase is “So, what you’re saying is” in reference to Cathy Newman’s vicious politically motivated attack on Jordan Peterson, attempting a strawman strategy (multiple times) during an interview on Channel4, in 2018, which at last count had acquired 19 million views.

Initially I found their material a little dry, but never-the-less informative and worthwhile. Peter Whittle has a willingness to host important conversations around free-speech, and contemporary cultural doctrines

“Having the deeper discussions mainstream media won’t provide.”

“”So What You’re Saying Is…” (SWYSI) is our weekly YouTube talk show — we invite experts and leading figures from the political, cultural and academic worlds to discuss some of the most important issues facing Britain & the world today.”

“The host is Peter Whittle (@PRWhittle), Founder & Director of The New Culture Forum, a Westminster-based think tank that seeks to challenge the cultural orthodoxies dominant in the media, academia, and British culture / society at large.” – Source – The New Culture Forum, YouTube

Peter Whittle is also a member of the LGBT community and ex-UKIP member. My guess at his political lean would be “libertarian” or “classic liberal” (but I’m no expert, or journalist, or know him personally, so don’t take my word for it).

Hope you are safe, and stays that way.

Cheers

Disclaimer – I AM JUST PASSING THIS ON (as fakestream media continues to lie, omit, cover up and spin an extreme minority narrative) – When opinions are stated anywhere on this blog they are just opinions, not facts, truths or endorsements. I am not a journalist or an activist and TBH most of the time not a “serious” writer either, more I enjoy creative writing (blogging is supposed to be fun?). I’m a centrist, I read and view content from both sides of the aisle (as long as it’s not blatant propaganda, or utter trash) – so I’m sharing this for your information, something you may not be aware of and may be interested in (or not, in which case, just go to the next post). As with any news, article, post, writing or report, don’t just take it at face value, do your own research, use your own critical thinking. Kind of obvious really, but best stated, so that it’s clear.
