Coronavirus: What If We Did NOTHING?

Phil Mason PHD aka Thunderf00t – his take on current COVID-19 situation, posted less than 1 hour ago @ 22-Mar-2020 00:39 UK time.

Hope you are safe, and stays that way.

Disclaimer – I AM JUST PASSING THIS ON (as fakestream media continues to lie, omit, cover up and spin an extreme minority narrative) – When opinions are stated anywhere on this blog they are just opinions, not facts, truths or endorsements. I am not a journalist or an activist and TBH most of the time not a “serious” writer either, more I enjoy creative writing (blogging is supposed to be fun?). I’m a centrist, I read and view content from both sides of the aisle (as long as it’s not blatant propaganda, or utter trash) – so I’m sharing this for your information, something you may not be aware of and may be interested in (or not, in which case, just go to the next post). As with any news, article, post, writing or report, don’t just take it at face value, do your own research, use your own critical thinking. Kind of obvious really, but best stated, so that it’s clear.

      1. Chloroquine has been approved by the FDA for “compassionate use” in COVID-19 patients. This is where a doctor can give a drug that is yet to be cleared by the government to a patient in a life threatening condition. Doctors are able to prescribe chloroquine in these circumstances, as it’s a registered drug.
But crucially there have been no complete clinical trials which are important to show how the drug behaves in actual patients, although they are under way in China, the US, UK and Spain.
To note also is that this is a drug which can provoke side effects, including muscle problems, loss of appetite, diarrhea, and skin rash. Serious side effects include problems with vision, muscle damage, seizures, and loss of blood cell production.

      2. Thanks for the info. My friend had first hand experience of taking this drug for 1.5 years, and she said there was immune system complications.

So, as I said, let’s see what happens. A treatment now, that works, may save lives. Vaccine is months to years away at this point.

  1. I just wish they would develop also a test to determine those who’ve already acquired immunity and give them a badge they can carry around. I believe that in such way a substantial amount of people could just be liberated from quarantine to keep things running.

    1. Perhaps they will. And yes, it’s a problem that people are having to quarantine, but it’s the only way right now to slow the spread, and protect our most vulnerable people.

      1. We also have to think how we can prevent a complete socio-economical meltdown as a result of this quarantine while still keeping the battle against this epidemic as our top priority.
