Been browsing some of my fellow blogger’s blogs today, and I came across this quote. I think it’s worth passing on :
‘The one who answered himself the question: “Why live?” – Will be able to bear almost any answer to the question: “How to live?”‘
OR Sometimes expressed simply as:
‘He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.’
F. Nietzsche
I’m not widely read on Nietzsche, so don’t know “the most correct” of these quotes (suspect the first version), but the meaning is about the same.

Nietzche was a moody cat and rather dark. But he was filled with plenty of deep notions. His philosophy can be an acquired taste. I have come to appreciate his works. You may wish to read *Also sprach Zarathustra. Be prepared for an unsettling read that will push a lot of buttons.
““Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms — to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” From Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl.
Thanks for sharing Anna, I’ve put on front page of my blog, and linked back to you (please rescue pingback if it’s in spam folder !)
Had this a few days ago from Tom Bilyeu. I think the second one is it. Thanks for sharing
I like it. When your life has a lot of purpose, you can get through most things to live it. I think some people die of despair because they can’t find anything really keeping them here for any kind of purpose. That would have to be depressing. Great post, Don!
It’s indeed a good quote. I’ll include that in my journal tomorrow
So very true. Nice to hear from you again. It’s been a long time.
Nice to hear from you also too, been a long time !
Hope you’re doing well.
