The Downwards Spiral Of Spain – Guest Blogger – Charly Priest

Charly and I had a chat about current state of Spanish politics. I asked him if he’d like to do a guest post, and he agreed. The post was written today, so it’s “freshly pressed” !

Hello everyone, my name is Charly Priest, but please be at ease you non-believers. It has been my honor to have been asked by the great Mr. Charisma to write about the political situation in my home country, Spain. Also known as the land of the wild bulls, although at this pace even the bulls are going to emigrate from their own country.

We have “only” 36 political parties in Spain. This means it is very normal for different political parties to make alliances, in order to get seats in the regional parliaments, as well as the state parliament or as I call it the “big league” – the state parliament, decides what are going to be the policies of the country, in theory that is.

We had spent a little over 3 years without an official government, meaning that the Socialist party made something to the effect of an “Impeachment” to the party that was governing which was the PP a center-right party.

How did they achieve this? Easy, since they didn’t have the popular vote, they joined forces with the Communist party called Unidas Podemos – They actually have extremely close ties with the communist corrupt leader of Venezuela who his country is in a literal civil war.

The other party is called ERC (Which is a party that wants the region of Spain of Catalonia to be independent from Spain) and their leaders are actually in prison because of actions they took to make an illegal referendum to gain that independence. They were sentenced to jail by the Spanish Supreme Court and to top it off BILDU ( Which is the political arm of the terrorist group ETA that killed in order to achieve their goal to make the Vasc Country another region of Spain to be independent from Spain).

The four extremist parties made a coup d état, joining forces hence adding together more seats in the Spanish Parliament and to be able to govern Spain.

So now the Socialist party, the second most voted force has a problem, they don’t have the votes nor the parliamentary seats to govern by themselves so they have to make alliances with the communist (friends of the dictator of Venezuela), the independents from the region of Catalonia and the terrorist party. There are actual convicted terrorists, who have killed, in that party I named before and now they have seats in the Spanish central parliament.

This is going great then – Spain is being governed by an alliance of Socialist-communist-independents of Catalonia who don’t feel Spanish and a terrorist group party that also don’t feel like Spaniards.

Four parties who want to destroy Spain are governing Spain. Makes sense right?

We are screwed big time, and it does piss you off a bit when you as a tax payer are paying the salaries of convicted terrorists, siting in the Spanish parliament, we pay them to kill us and also for them to gain the independence for that region of Spain.

We also pay for the other Catalonian parliamentarians who’s leaders are in jail for treason and also want to be independent from Spain. No rule of law as you can see. They don’t follow the rules of the laws of Spain, but we are being governed by all of these four parties, that want to literally destroy Spain.

So we the people, are under their newly made rules of law, for their benefit to stay in power and destroy Spain as a nation state.

*Even the bulls are scared to death.*

Charly and I have been friends on WordPress pretty much since I first started the blog. I would encourage you to visit him at the above link and have a look around. I think his passion is poetry. Tell him to “stay frosty”, he’ll like that.

Disclaimer – I AM JUST PASSING THIS ON (as fakestream media continues to lie, omit, cover up and spin an extreme minority narrative) – When opinions are stated anywhere on this blog they are just opinions, not facts or truths. I am not a journalist or an activist and TBH most of the time not a “serious” writer either, more I enjoy creative writing (blogging is supposed to be fun?). I’m a centrist, I read and view content from both sides of the aisle (as long as it’s not blatant propaganda, or utter trash) – so I’m sharing this for your information, something you may not be aware of and may be interested in (or not, in which case, just go to the next post). As with any news, article, post, writing or report, don’t just take it at face value, do your own research, use your own critical thinking. Kind of obvious really, but best stated, so that it’s clear.

  1. Hi Charlie, it sounds about as dysfunctional as it is in many other countries. We were in Spain a couple of years ago and it seemed like the developers had taken over and there were a lot of empty condos. It’s going to be interesting to see how all this works out.

    1. It´s going down the tube, thousands of Companies, literally thousands have left the region of Catalonia. For the Socialist to stay in power and be the Socialist member the President of my country they have to unite with the Catalonian politicians that want the independence, and they are pushing (the Catalonians) the President of Spain from the Socialist government to give them money. Every year like the majority of western governments they have to do the budget and see how much money is going to be allocated to each and every region of Spain. So since the socialist need the Catalonians it is more likely than not that they will get a big chunk of money from the State, a state they want the independence from….a mess. All this creates a lot of uncertainty that is why so many thousand of companies have left Catalonia. They are going to be broke if the central government doesn’t give them the money hence taking the money out from other regions that feel that they are Spanish first. It´s just going to hurt the whole country. We are bending towards the desires of Catalonia that only half or less than half of their population wants the independence of Spain. We are bending to a small but violent minority.

      1. Yes they have a voice, a violent and against our laws voice they have. The leaders of that movement have been convicted and are sitting in prison because of the illegal referendum. You might no like the ways…. but there has to be a rule of law. If not the country it´s destroyed, and being a former Spanish soldier actually pisses me off even more. By the way, you know how much people that live in Catalonia ( that consider them first Spanish) have actually fled because of the violence these independents inflict on them, on them their children, try to get you child in one of those schools when you do say you are first spaniard and then from Catalonia, see how good the kid is treated….
Here goes a video for you swo, actually a independent posted it would be my guess, thew title is written in the Catalonian language, it says ” 40 minutes of terror” For me is 40 minutes of allocating the law against people they are committing crimes against our constitution, that is not my opinion that is a fact. Once and for all they let but just a bit actually to let them do their job.
Have friends from my army day in the Spanish Civil guard, you had more chance first being in the army to get the position to join that paramilitary force that now is more just like the police. Video! seems in this instance the minority were put in place. I just love it. Punks these idiots, I did not fight in the army for these idiots.

  2. Thank you for sharing some insider info, as you need to have huge knowledge to the Spanish to be able to understand exactly, what is going on in the Spanish Government, Don.
My Spanish is not that good.
