Further to Beauty And A Beat by PostModernJukebox, a reader suggested this one, which after listening to (at least thrice), I really really like :

Again I prefer this version to the “real” one … much more character here than the corporately bleached Lorde original 🙂

  1. I’ve been following PJM for a while now. They’ve remade songs I actually hated and made them gold, to me. My favorite of the vocalists is Robyn Adele Anderson. That lady could sing the U.S. Tax Code and make it sound sexy. 😉

    1. LOL, yup very much, she’s very charismatic singer and woman, and totally agree she does stand out … as for songs I hate turned good, well not sure I’d have admitted to liking “call me maybe” before I heard her sing it !

  2. PostModernJukebox has wonderful Jazzy renditions of pop songs. Skaterboi, Lovefool, Take me to Church, Hey Ya!, Seven Nation Army, Oops! I did it again, call me maybe, Roar, guns n roses’ sweet child of mine, and my face Radioactive… There is also, all about that bass, bad romance, and all of me.

  3. I love this. I enjoy hearing the original, but this has such depth. I’ve shared it to Facebook and credited you. Thank you, again, for bringing a lovely song/photo/thought to my attention.

    1. You’re welcome as always Greer, happy when I’m sharing things that others like too, it’s job satisfaction in blogging terms 🙂

And, yes, very much, and well described, similar depth postmodernjukebox added for me, would like to have discovered them earlier … but hey, nevermind.
