Usually when the sun is setting my camera is pointing a full 90 degrees clockwise away from here … but the stormy sky here was actually more interesting than the sunset which was completely overcast.

That stormy sky sure looks non-threatening! 😀
Yup, definitely on that !
Did you get my email ?
It looks like half a painting for the clouds part and half a photo for the sea part. I like the white light behind the clouds.
It could be a good symbol for imagining a shining future when the present is kind of sober.
Like it … you’re more the poet than I 😀
You answered the question “who am I” : D
I think I have to a large extent 😀
Amazing photo! Where was this taken in Thailand?
Thanks, and yes taken in Thailand ?
Ah amazing! First time in Thailand?
LOL … if only, must be like the 20th by now 😀
Clouds are some of my favorite photos. They are always changing and that makes them interesting. Love the photo!
God’s canvass 😀
Very pretty!
Thanks 😀
Wow that is dramatic
Isn’t it just 😀
Beautiful !

wonderful skies. I was at Tate Britain today and your skies remind me of Turners-or the other way around:)
LOL … I believe Turner has heard of me, damn copy-cat … *laughing out loud* … sorry, I’m in a silly mood today !
Just another one of God’s creations.

Thanks for the reblog 😀
Took my breath away. We have so many trees here, it’s hard to see the sky!
There’s something very “womb of mother nature” about forests … but yes we don’t spend our entire life there, and nice to be able to see the expansiveness of the sky …
One word Don, WOW! =D
Thanks 😀
no probs
Wooow!

Thanks for the reblog 😀
Anytime!
I often find the subdued, pastel tones of the eastern sky, directly opposite the setting sun, to be more interesting that its more garish western counterpart. It may be less stunning, less spectacular, but there is something calming and understated about the pinks and greys. I quite like the western sky at sunrise, too, as today’s image on my blog shows.
That’s a very good point, to turn around and have a look at the opposing sky, I’ve often seen just as beautiful there too …
