4. Perhaps Edison was right but I disagree with him. Sometimes, one can go till the end but failure is the fate.

   1. Can’t disagree with your sentiment, it’s happened to me plenty of times ! … however I think Edison was talking about giving up too early, ie not finishing, and I think he’s right people often give up or give in too easily when they are close to achieving what they want.

      Or another way of saying – a quitter never wins and a winner never quits 😀

6. How do you know when you are flogging a dead horse? Truth is – you don’t.
   I always see that image in my head of the dude digging a tunnel out of, I assume prison… and he is turning around walking away, when the air is about a foot above him…something like that.
   HOW do we ever know if that last push is not the one to break through to the light?
   Maybe sometimes we let ‘common sense’ take over… maybe it depends on HOW MUCH we want it? Maybe, if water starts falling on our heads we know we have hit the ocean-bed instead of the light of day. blah blah blabidy blah – lol!

7. Well I know this for a fact I almost quit school at one point, but my parents made me stay for two months till finals and I got pretty decent grades :).. glad I didn’t quit after all..
