  1. Thanks for posting so many wonderful quotes. I have saved a number of them, & sometimes read them to get a better start on my day; amazing the difference they can make. Life can seem very up & down for someone who aspires to high accomplishments, and self-doubt can easily take over if a positive attitude is not constantly cultivated. I appreciate your contribution!

Don Charisma was one of the first bloggers to reach out to me a year ago when I began to post again on the blog after a long time. His photographs and the quotations that he posts are nuggets of gold from Buddha dressed in gold to quotes such as this… Success is measured by us all differently but as you get older you begin to see that both of the small wins and losses were the stepping stones to opportunity and achievement – just needed a little fine tuning. Thanks for all the support in the early days – I hope you count me as one of your successes. best wishes Sally

I recently read a book of inspirational quotes from John Wooden. The title of which is “Life Wisdom from Coach Wooden”. Really cool stuff, inspirational for anyone whether they be a sports fan or not. It is not difficult to see why Coach Wooden was so successful.

“This is my life’s most defining maxim: Success is peace of mind as a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming – in all areas of life.”
