This is the entrance to one of the local Buddhist temples, at sunset, true to Don Charisma form, in panorama 🙂

    1. I haven’t looked into the particular dialect of buddhism here … they seem to incorporate bits from other religions here too, for instance ginesh the hindu god can be seen quite often in statue form …

      1. I’m no expert, as I think already … personally my bottom line is “Know thyself” anyway, which is why I don’t ‘follow’ any organised religion …

      2. I do not particularly follow any “organized” religion. My school of Buddhism has no priests, no monks, it’s all on you. If you get a bad effect, you probably did something to deserve it. The only real constant thing is the law of Cause and Effect. Which just makes sense, whatever you do (cause) is going to create a reaction (effect). We are also real big on as you put it, “Know thyself”. That’s one of the other basics is to cut through all the facades we build to protect ourselves, and live as one’s true self. Easier said than done 🙂

      3. I am beginning to accept that the right path is most frequently the most difficult one….my school of Buddhism (among many different schools) teaches that when you start running into obstacles, you are on the right path. That which does not kill you makes you stronger….
