    I know it’s been used before, but it describes some academic theories perfectly.

    But I think Einstein actually said something different – he certainly came up with theories no one else have thought of!

That’s a great angle I hadn’t thought of … reminds me of the “scientist” in the UK who had worried the UK government, he was found dead, “suicide” in the middle of a field, with no reason to have killed himself and no reason to be in the middle of a field … when it gets to changing the facts like that, that’s worrying !

      1. Thanks Don. It happens more than we realize. If you look at the majority of wrongful conviction case files, there are crucial details that could prove a person’s innocence or another person’s guilt that are conveniently left out of the trial process. This is known as a “Brady” violation and it is illegal. Witnesses have also been known to willingly lie. Just don’t get me started on the idea that “jailhouse snitches” are put on the stand and considered credible witnesses after being “coached” in order to get their sentences reduced!
