  1. Every one of us is an artist at heart for sure, how to remain this artist at heart depends also very much on the support we have while growing up. Nevertheless, it is always possible to re-connect with this artist, because when we become adults we have a choice to do so, of course it depends again on the circumstances we live in… And yet nurturing that potential is at times all that is needed…

  7. This resonates with me. I wrote my first story at 5 years old. I was published by 16. All I ever wanted to be was a writer. My mother loved to read my work but the whole time insisted that it was only a hobby. It would never pay the bills. I went to business school. I worked in a career that I detested for over a decade. Luckily my inner child paid me a visit and reminded me that life is about happiness, not money. 🙂

  10. The problem here is the growing up part. In all great artists, there is a part that refused to grow up and give up on their imaginary world.
