This tree grows just outside my apartment block. It’s got some kind of Variegated vine that grows up it. Imagine standing at the foot of the tree then moving your eyes upwards, tilting your head back as far as it will go – that is what this photo represents.
One of the thing I like to do with Panorama photography is take vertical panoramas (like this one). This one is 5 portrait orientation shots stacked one on top of another. Merged with PTGui Pro.

Someone beat me to it. I was about to say that the ‘vine’ is a variegated monsteria deliciouso. We had one growing under the tree at our last home. 🙂
Way behind on comments Suz, sorry for that. I just liked the way it looked on the tree, noticing this plant more often now it’s been identified 🙂 Cheers dc
Does that make you the giant guarding the goose that lays the golden eggs? xxx
LOL, maybe, jack and the beanstalk sprung to mind for some reason 🙂 warm regards DC
Just beautiful! And such a long, long way away from the rain and cold of England. Although we are having some gorgeous sun today. But, still, no risk of glorious tropical plants and trees like the ones you show. Great picture.
Good blog!
Thanks 🙂
Like it. Nifty!
Thanks 🙂
love the photo. The long length.. Must do something like that.. Thanks for the idea…
You are welcome, I love playing around with panoramas in creative ways, the towerama is good for tall things !
Cheers

A very nice tree to see. How would it be to climb at? Specially the view from the top.
Thanks for sharing.

Is this a parasite plant?
It looks like those we have here.
Super photograph!
I believe that it’s Variegated Mexican Breadfruit or Monstera deliciosa ‘Variegata’ I worked at a tropical greenhouse here in CT for years, so I have a useless knack for identifying strange plants lol. Anyway, here’s a link to the greenhouse and that specific plant if you want to know anything about it…

Tip – It’ll attach itself to anything that’s close by for long enough, and it’s a bitch to get off once it attaches.
It looks very very similar, so I’d say 99% you’re right, and thank for letting me know … Botany isn’t my strong suit 🙂
Warm regards
