Ocean Sunset Panorama, Huge Sky

I’m having a relaxing boxing day, so not many posts today. But here’s a very awesome sunset. Clouds make a sunset visually interesting 🙂

Total of 26 individual photos merged together with PTGui Pro (portrait 4 high)

  1. Amazing to see the sunset …excellent photography !!! I felt as though i was really watching the sunset!!! God bless u Don!!!

  4. You must have read my mind.:) How’s that “Moderation” working out for ya? I’m still working on it and will be for awhile, I’m sure. I hate “Moderation” a lot. I’m really much better at “ALL” or “NOTHING”. LOL 🙂
    Peace out,
    Wild Thang:)

  5. Wow, Don, that is really beautiful. You are a very talented man. Keep up the great work. You are definitely heading places, big places! This picture is just soooooooooooooo cool. 🙂

      1. Patience, my dear friend. It’s coming. You are a very busy and talented man, as I’ve been reading your blog for the past hour or so. Variety. That’s what I like about your blog. Keep up the good work.:)

      2. Damn, it’s time for bed, again. I only got 2 hours of sleep last night. So here I go again. Talk to you soon, my friend. Goodnight!
        Peace out,
        Wild Thang:)

      3. Yep, so very true and LMAO, but it’s almost time for attempting sleep, once again. LOL I did actually get some decent sleep last night, so that probably means tonight is off as far as sleeping goes, Damn it, anyway! 🙂

      4. I don’t know if this is any help, but I often find I don’t get sleep if I don’t go out for a walk during the daytime … just thought might help 🙂 hope all’s well, cheers DC

      5. Well, that makes perfect sense, however, it is cold as hell over here in the U.S. at the moment with this arctic blast we keep getting. I won’t be walking anywhere for awhile. When it warms up, though, I will sure give it an attempt. I might make it around the block once, if I’m lucky. I’m really weak. I’ve got to get back to building up some strength. I was going to physical therapy for awhile, just for that reason because I am in bed so much that I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass. It’s on my list of things that I’m going to do any day now. Exercise, that is. LOL
        Peace out,
        Wild Thang:)

      6. That’s what I’m working on, finally. “Moderation”. I gotta quit this “All” or “Nothing” crap. Start out slow and work my way up. Damn it, I hate moderation!:) I hope all is well with you.
        Peace out,
        Wild Thang:)

    1. Thanks 🙂 And I’m getting a definite south-African twang in your writing, I’ve a friend over here’s she’s a saffer and always adds a ‘hey’ like that 😎

      Cheers

      DC

  6. Beautiful and nicely done! By the way, thank you for the recommending our blog for an award. We haven’t quite figured out all there is to blogging world, but are honored by your kindness. Thank you 🙂 ~SueBee

    1. Hey SueBee, you are most welcome. If you search my site, I did a how-to about awards as the result of a 18 hour marathon awards giving day – could be a good read … I don’t remember the exact title, but I think “what I learn’t on my awards day” would find it, if not try searching “awards” … warm regards DC

  7. A beautiful sunset for my birthday. The sun was even shining here today, which of course is already tomorrow in Thailand. Does that make sense?

  8. Sunsets are just blinding rays of light without clouds….I live in a state that is practically a “cloud-free” zone. But, when we get clouds, we get amazing sunrises! We do, however, have remarkable moon rises 🙂

    1. The clouds do make all the difference for sunset/sunrise … I’ve yet to get any moon photos that were usable, just looks like a white blurry dot in the middle of a black photo, not enough resolution on my camera, or need a tripod and zoom lens, perhaps … 😎

      1. Slower or faster film, and the exposure does have something to do with photographing the moon. I think slower film speed with a longer exposure. Check the Web, it’ll have an article 🙂

      2. Working with iphone 4s, and it’s all automatic, and doesn’t easily attach a tripod. Also it can’t zoom (or there’s little point because it’s the same as cropping the photo). So for now unless I get one of those really huge moons, I’m not doing any moon photos!
