Really very challenging what I was trying to capture. Looking up into this tree’s foliage with a twilight sky, is a breathtaking sight, the silhouette of the leaves against the deep blue of the sky and such a wide field of view, just spectacular.
In the fork of the tree there’s a floodlight, which only adds to the effect. Truly awesome to see in real life, I hope I’ve been able to capture even a little of the majesty.
So the buildings and lamp post look curved that’s because it’s the view as if you were panning from ground level, right back to as far as your head will go looking straight up.
It’s ends up being a 34 megapixel photo. 2w x 5h landscape stitched with PTGui Pro. iPhone photography to the max !

You are very welcome 🙂
The somber mass of the trunk against the lace of the leaves – love it.
Much more poetic than I could have put it, thanks 🙂
